EASTER IDEAS INTRODUCTION

A couple of recipes to try over the Easter period, both quick to prepare and cook- make the Chicken breast now and freeze – great for portion control just get out as many as you need!

The cast iron Chefs Dish is ideal for cooking both these recipes- you will need double quantities of the Bread and Butter pud. to fill it though – but there is usually company at Easter!

An AGA wok is just so efficient to do the stir-fry- just remember to heat the wok up in an oven or on the simmering side before you do the stir-fry on the boiling side, saving that extreme heat to do the cooking.

The rice is of course cooked in the oven – bring it to the boil in the correct amount of water and pop it into the simmering oven to absorb all the water , in an AGA saucepan with a well fitting lid! Stir through some of your favourite herbs just before serving.
